Close to the entrance of Bridgewater is a gas station with convenience store, take-out food, DVD/video rental and newspapers (US and UK). There is a bank with cashpoint, Publix Supermarket, a pharmacy, a Chilis restaurant, a pizzeria, a Chinese restaurant and a 24-hour McDonalds nearby at Champions Gate.

There are dozens of golf courses within easy reach, including the beautiful championship courses of Champions Gate (designed by Greg Norman) and Reunion (designed by Arnold Palmer and Jack Nicklaus) just 2 minutes away. These are located on the scenic route to Disney through the Old Lake Wilson Preserve on Highway 545
